Hauntingly Cute

Hi everyone,
I've noticed that I haven't posted for a while, how about a little halloween project for you?
This project is from my favorite website SVGCuts.com
Mary always designs fantastic 3D files for all occasions. I think I am her biggest fan, I can't even say enough good things about Mary and Leo. The site is great and the assembly tutorials they put together are superb. You guys are AWESOME.

As soon as I saw the Haunted Forest kit, I downloaded it the same day. Check out this cute haunted cottage...

The sign was an add on by me. Every bed and broomstick inn needs a sign.
Here it is all lit up with green LED lights
Here's one more view of the cottage

Paper used in this project was Kaisercraft for the roof, Bo Bunny for the house and Graphic 45 for the base, and highlighted or enhanced with Primary Elements painted over top for a spooky shimmer
Thanks for checking out my post. Have a hauntingly fun week, and we will see you next time.

It all started with a great photo. I wish I could say I took it, but my photography skills are just not that great. I love Pinterest! In fact, that's where I found the inspiration for the canvas with the peeled back layers as well as these awesome photos.
In the above photo, I made a bunch of "grapes" using glue and beads for the top of the barrell. The leaves were all cut and hand colored with permanent markers. The lantern was from my stash of .png files I used last year for halloween.
Everything used on this project was from items I had on hand. The only thing I bought was the "grapes" which are actually little styrofoam berries from the dollar store.
I have fallen in love with home decor creations. I enjoy using my art supplies to make projects for my home. I give a lot of my stuff away, but I do keep those special items JUST FOR ME!
I am also going to post this one on Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge blog. The theme this week is "Falling in Love with"
