12 Tags of 2016 Remix - October

hey I'm super early with the October Remix this month! I guess I was inspired by the great techniques for my 8x8 layout. You can check out the full instructions over at Tim Holtz' blog here.
I began with my collage, using small squares from my stash. (Remember the Laboratory paper in blacks and whites?) I added the letters to spell October over the top of the layout.
I don't have the Distress Crayons, but I do have something very similar, so I used those.
Next I cut out some foil pieces and embossed them with various folders. I antiqued them with black soot and ground espresso.

    Super cool and spooky with a lot of class. Love that metalic paper. I must bust out that collage product. I really loved collaged papers and yours was perfectly colour balanced. Awesome Sauce Laurie!!!! xoK
