Hey Everyone,
Whew, a two week holiday was just the thing I needed to recharge. The sweet man and I went to New York City (AWESOME!!!) and then headed south on the Norwegian Breakaway to the south Caribbean.
The only problem was that the internet was so expensive on the ship, I wasn't able to publish any blog posts.
Here is our February layout kit from Urban Scrapbook.
I used a stencil/texture paste in the background and then just started building around the picture with lots of hearts and roses. A few embossed hearts added a little more texture to the layout.
thanks for stopping by, you can check out the design team's layouts at Urban's Blog

The Rogue Stamper in New York City
Here I am in the big apple. What an amazing city this is. We are here for a couple of days before we sail off down to warmer weather in the Caribbean. It is really cold in NYC. Waaaaay colder than home. The temperature is about the same, however it is really humid here. The cold seems to get right into your bones.
We ventured out to the Ink Pad. A cute little store packed FULL of rubber stamps and artsy goodies.
I bought a few stamps to use after my trip. I was happy to get the new Tim Holtz distress color, some texture paste and the mixed media cardstock from Ranger.
Catch up with you later, we are off to Century 21 shopping mall.
