Pumpkin Cottage

Greetings to you.
I had to share the adorable pumpkin cottage that I made last week. You can purchase the kit here.

Mary, I LOVE this kit. It is absolutely super cute.
The most work was planning the paper that I wanted to use.  I have a lot of downloaded graphic files that I have purchased from thehungryjpeg.com. This allows me to print my own patterned papers
I added some die cut vines...
the little mice are from the "Boo To You" graphic pack
thanks for looking!

Tropical Tiffany Lamp

Hello again, I haven't posted a lot of projects lately. I have been busy enjoying the nice weather and my newly landscaped back yard. It's still a work in progress, but I ran out of money hahaha 😫

I did make something just for me though. this project is from the Boho Butterflies SVG Kit
Boho Butterflies SVG Kit
It took a bit of editing and piecing together, but I really love how it turned out.
I've made a few of these lamps - halloween, Christmas, snowflakes...but this one is my FAVORITE
I used 3 different images for the "stained glass"; A tropical leaf, hibiscus and wave pattern. They were downloaded from the Silhouette Design store.
I had some really cool seashell patterned vellum in my stash, I bought it years ago. I don't think you can even get it anymore.
I colored the vellum with my Copic markers using shades of green down to turquoise.
What'd'ya think? I think it turned out rather spectacular.

Thanks for stopping by, I will see you soon.

Urban Scrapbook's Monthly Challenge Kit - September

Sometimes things don't go your way, sometimes things work out.

Back in July, I had posted the last design for Urban Scrapbook's monthly kit not knowing that things would work out.  Instead of the store closing, at the 11th hour, one of our great team members ended up buying and taking over the store!!! I am absolutely delighted and grateful.

Nicole, thank you for keeping the store alive and for keeping the Urban team together. xo

Here is my layout for September, using the kit featuring Echo Park papers and chipboard.
The only extra things I added were the layered leaf die and embossing folder (Tim Holtz)
and the die cuts from the Fall Foliage thinlets set (Tim Holtz) which I had in my stash.

I colored the word "Autumn" with distress oxide inks and added some paint splatter.
I hope you like the layout, you can check out the other team member's work over at Urban Scrapbook's blog.   see you real soon if I can figure out my photo stream situation. I have somehow lost all my pics on my ipad. grrrr
