Citrus Wheel

Here's another entry for the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge  "Citrus With A Twist"
As you all know by now, I love creating 3D paper projects.  I have the Summer Street Carnival kit from SVGCuts.com  I cut the Ferris Wheel at 50% of the original size. The actual size, when finished measures in at 14 inches, this one is about 7"
I used bright citrusy (is that even a word?) paper and glued together all the little tiny pieces. There were tons of little circles, and each spacer had to be glued together. Gone crazy, be back soon...
I love the finished result though, it turns freely and the little cars swing side to side.
I added some embellishments from Bo Bunny and die cut letters for the "sign" - it is a citrus challenge after all.
Thanks for checking out my second project for this week. see you next time with some fun Bird Crazy stuff.

  2. Holy cow! This is amazing! I want to hop on this wheel and soak in all that citrusy goodness! (See? I used "citrusy" to confirm that it should be a word if it isn't yet)! I adore your bright colors and the way you made the rosettes. And the signage cracked me up! Love the use of the pearls, too, and how everything really does reflect that whimsically wonderful fruit theme. This made me smile and crave an orange, so thanks for the inspiration and for pointing me to an orange instead of a chocolate bar. Thank you for sharing your skills with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
