Urban Scrapbook's October Challenge Kit

Hi everyone,
It's that time again. Urban Scrapbook's October kit is full of Halloween goodness. The paper, this time, is from Carta Bella.
I felt a real retro vibe to the paper, and so, with an opportunity to do a project this month, I made an old television complete with rabbit ears.
I cut out the images from one of the sheets in the kit, and glued them inside the box.  It was a pretty easy project to put together. I used a Silhouette cut file for the tv  here, but I increased the size to fill up the cut area. Oh, and I cut some panels too, so that my tv was a little more colourful.
The great thing about the monthly kits at Urban Scrapbook is that there is always plenty of leftovers to make another project. I decided to do a layout as well because I had the perfect photo to match the paper.
This pic is my beautiful talented second daughter. She made the batgirl costume from scratch! I wish I had her sewing talent, but I'm so happy that she inherited an artistic side from me. And a big shout out to my first born daughter, she is a sewing "machine" as well. I just didn't have a photo with her batgirl costume on.
Thanks for stopping in, be sure to keep your eyes on the other AMAZING projects the Urban ladies have made on the blog. Your gonna love them. See ya soon.

  1. I think this TV is the cutest thing ever! Takes me back in time. You have to be a certain age to even remember Rabbit Ears, LOL Wow, things have sure changed. Now I can watch TV on my phone, isn't that crazy? Great job, as always you inspire us! Kelly x
