The Urban Scrapbook's May Kit
This month's kit contains the beautiful chipboard pieces along with paper from Simple Stories.
Plus a little challenge as well...
The layout isn't complicated. I painted the chipboard with Prima paints which added a nice iridescent sparkle
and for the challenge element in the kit? A shaker card!
I created a background on the card base using the Sizzix transfer sheets and a butterfly die from Memory Makers. Then I inked the card with the same colors as my background paper on the layout and assembled the card.
NOTE: make sure your plastic shaker piece is adhered really well to the paper. I had sequins everywhere! It was more like an explosion card when I shook it. sigh
anyway, happy National Scrapbooking weekend. Let's make sure we include a little creativity and play time into our Weekend.
bye for now.
