12 Tags of 2016 Remix - July

Welcome to the July tag remix featured on Tim Holtz' blog each month here

As in the last 6 months, I've continued on with my 8x8 layouts

I started with an 8x8 design on my Silhouette Studio software. This was great because I didn't have to worry about the paper fitting in my big shot machine.

Here it is cut out on the cardstock.

I did the watercolor resist on the background paper, and added some stamped and water colored images on top.

Abandoned Phone Booth

Hello? I think we have a bad connection. In fact, I don't think this phone works at all.

Check out my abandoned phone booth. This project is from the "Travel the World" kit over at SVGCuts.com. As soon as I saw the kit, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it.

I constructed a phone out of cardstock and mounted it inside the booth. I love the grungy feel of this project.

Urban Scrapbook's Monthly Challenge Kit - July

Soooo far behind on posting stuff. I've moved and am trying to get organized. I have been in the new house for almost 3 weeks. It's coming along slowly. I have managed to do a couple projects in between unpacking and working. 

I realized that I forgot to post my layout for July. The kits are available at Urban Scrapbook.

Lots of fun layers and the chipboard pieces are part of the kit!

My photo I found on Pinterest. I pulled the amber color in the photo onto my background paper using a dot stamp and fossilized amber distress ink ( both from Tim Holtz)
